We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our financial market data products to buy-side clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, and institutional investors. Working for a leading provider of high-quality financial market data and analytics. They empower clients with robust solutions that enhance trading strategies and investment decisions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and engage buy-side clients in Hong Kong, building a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our market data offerings and how they benefit clients’ investment processes
  • Presentations & Demos: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs, showcasing the value of our data solutions
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings to effectively position our Market Data
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Reporting: Track sales activities and provide regular reports on sales performance and market feedback

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the financial services or data solutions industry
  • Proven track record of selling to buy-side clients, with a strong understanding of their needs and challenges
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Mandarin and Cantonese language skills
